Meeting at Bamford train station car park, this route takes in a lovely wooded valley, open moors overlooking Derwent Valley and finishes at a lovely garden centre cafe. Overall 9 miles with moderate hills. Note sections will be very muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear

For those who like the detail: we will set off along the River Derwent, head up to Offerton Hall, down into Highlow brook, following the wooded brook up to Abney, then up and over the moor to Bradwell Edge and down some tracks to Bamford via Shatton (hehe).

A train is due in the station at 10:38, however please check times / cancellations yourself before the walk. Parking at the station car park.
