Full description: A evening walk across bamford moor and along the edge with sunset view over ladybower.
I may have to work out the kinks a bit but the route will be as follows. Head up Jarvis Clough following grouse paths across access to south end of bamford edge. Then north along bamford edge to see sun set behind ladybower. Short decent in twilight (bring touch) to carpark. Possibly follow with dinner at Crosspool Tavern.
Notes:
1. chilly, chilly is the evening time (pack appropriate layers)
2. And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking (this will be a fast walk)
Public transport or car sharing options: 257 bus out leaves Sheffield at 17:00 however will miss return so check for lifts or be willing to leave halfway and walk to Bamford train. Leader has 3 spare seats for pick up on route from Sharrow lane.
Additional info:
This will be a fast-paced walk (requiring a good level of fitness)
