Weaselling and Scrambling at Higger Tor

  • Fox House car park Hathersage Road Sheffield, England, S11 7TY United Kingdom (map)

Weaselling is where you crawl between and under the rocks, bit like a weasel. This fun time out around Higger Tor in the Peaks will also have some optional scrambling. Some of the weaselling is through bigger gaps and some more of a tight squeeze, all of which are also optional.

However, before the fun starts we’ll head out from Fox House and along the scenic valley of Burbage Brook before a gradual ascent to reach Higger Tor.

You may bump your head on a rock as you weasel around, so a helmet or other headwear might be useful. Recommended to wear something you don’t mind getting mucky and roughed up!
