Hope for a Winning Year

  • Hope railway station Hope Valley, England, S33 6RU United Kingdom (map)

Start the new year as you mean to go on – with a lovely walk in excellent company!

Join me for a mystery circular from Hope that takes in some of the best views in the Peak District. I don’t want to let on exactly where we’ll be going, but there’s a clue for you in the title and the photo.

I’ve done my best to avoid paths that are a complete quadmire at this time of year, but you should expect to get a little muddy. There’s also a bit of a climb to get those calf muscles working!

The Old Hall Hotel in Hope with its pub and tea room will be open for a post-walk pint or cuppa and cake.
