We head west out of Holme along the Romanesque straight track aptly named Issues Road. After overcoming any issues, there is a steep climb onto the Pennine Way leading to Black Hill. At the trig point we take the track that you least expect towards the Holme Moss Transmitting Station. Look out for the king of carbon capture, Sphagnum Moss, in this potentially boggy section of the walk. After passing the Transmitting Station we get views across to Holme and the surrounding reservoirs. We follow the contours in a horseshoe around Great Twizle Head and Ramsden Clough, descending below Ramsden Edge to cross Brownhill Reservoir and eventually get back to 'Holme Sweet Holme' for a pint at The Fleece Inn.
Paths: Some muddy tracks and could be very boggy if there has been rain.

Transport:
Public transport is not great! Add a post to the Facebook group if a lift is required or message me as I may be able to provide a lift from the Stannington/Crookes area.
Meeting Place/Parking: There is some on street parking in Holme, particularly on Meal Hill Road; but please be considerate to local residents. If you can't find a good parking spot, there is a small free car park 0.6 miles down the road at Digley Reservoir (if you end up here, text me and I'll organise a detour/meeting point)
