Hardwick Hall Gardens

  • Hardwick Hall Chesterfield, England, S44 5QJ United Kingdom (map)

Hardwick Hall is known for its winter gardens. Stems, bark and berries are left over from the previous year, while winter-flowering honeysuckle and bulbs such as snowdrops and winter aconite help us to look forward to spring. The house is currently closed for renovations, which means garden only tickets are reduced to £9 (free for National Trust members).

We are organising car shares for this social and the preceding walk – please indicate when booking whether you need a lift or you can offer others a lift to the start. Mask wearing is at the driver’s discretion and passengers must comply with the driver’s wishes. To give the walk leader sufficient time to ensure that there are enough cars to take everybody, booking is essential and you must book on by Friday 4th February at 6pm.
