Full description:
This walk is organised by Doncaster Ramblers and led by David Gadd. It precedes the South Yorkshire & North East Derbyshire (SYNED) annual general meeting (AGM) which commences at 14.00. The AGM provides an opportunity to hear about activities across the region and have a say about its future. Do be aware that you need to be a Ramblers member to attend the AGM.
The pavilion will be open from 10.00 until the start of the walk for storage and toilets. The walk should end by 13.30 and the AGM by 16.30. It will be an easy walk with a history lesson about the Tickhill and the various landmarks. There will be a short stop for refreshments. Walkers are reminded it is their responsibility to wear appropriate footwear/clothing, bring adequate food/drink and carry emergency contact details.
Public transport or car sharing options:
Tickhill sadly isn’t easy to get to by public transport on a Sunday. We encourage you to arrange car shares by commenting on Meetup.
