Full description: A walk through Chatsworth Park up to the Hunting Tower taking in views back to the house. The route then heads to the south exploring the woodland paths including Emperor Lake and the Dell with its man made waterfalls and cascade, before returning through the park to Baslow. This walk will use grassy paths plus undulating woodland track and paths. There are some steep sections with steps. This is a relatively short walk hoping to finish around 14:00.

Public transport or car sharing options: 218 bus from Sheffield Interchange at 9:40 arriving at Baslow for 10:19. Please post in the Meet Up Group chat if you can offer or would like to car share. Please note Neather End Car Park is pay and display (cash or by phone if you have signal). Parking can be challenging in summer the fewer cars we take the better.
