We will start form the western end of the Woodhead tunnel before turning south to look for the route to middle black clough waterfall. Depending on the conditions of the water crossing we will either take a short scramble to this waterfall or keep out boots dry and save it to the end. We then head up either near or far black Clough deepening on the weather and conditions under foot towards Bleaklow head with a possible visit to Bleaklow stones and plane wreaks along the way. We then head North on the Pennine way along Torside clough to the Torside reservoir. finally we fisish with a easy walk along the Longendale Trail overlooking the reservoirs.
Note this is a strenuous walk across remote terrain.
