Full description: Soak up the evening sun from three southern edges. We walk atop or below the west-facing edges of Gardom's Edge, Baslow Edge and Birchen Edge, passing Nelson and Wellington's monuments, and the Three Ships rocks.

Public transport or car sharing options: National Trust/National Park car park at the Robin Hood inn, I think it charges in the evening, members free. No bus to the car park, please share lifts via Meetup, or failing that get off the bus at Cuploa Cottage (about ¾ mile after the crossroads on Big Moor) and wait for us there. Let the leader know in advance if you're doing this, and remember there may not be a phone signal available on site.

Daylight is getting scarce, so we will not be able to wait for latecomers. If you are running late, please call the leader and we will try to work something out. This might mean you joining the walk part-way through.

Be prepared:

Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. With this being an evening walk please bring a touch. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water.
