Full description:

A chance to work off some of the Easter overindulgence by leaving the bustle and boom of town and its rats by heading to the countryside. From Totley, we head south across the fields and though the woods to Horsleygate Hall. Then we go west a bit before resuming south up Hewetts Bank, then up the Ramsley Reservoir. We then go north past Bar Brook and over the road to go along Brown Edge Wood. After admiring views over the city we will head back to the pub via Blacka Dike. This will be a fast-paced walk (requiring a good level of fitness).

Public transport or car sharing options:

Bus 97 at 10:05 from Arundel Gate or bus 218 at 10:10 from Sheffield Interchange. For the way back, please note it’s a bank holiday, so buses likely run the Sunday service. Do check whether the bus times are correct before leaving.
