Because You’re Dungworth It! (Circular)

  • Sheffield, England, S6 6LB United Kingdom (map)

Walk Leader: Bryn C

 Distance: 9.5 miles

 Start time: 10.30am

Start / End Point: Low Bradfield Cricket Pitch Bus Stop (S6 6LB)

 Difficulty: Moderate

Walk Description: Starting in Low Bradfield we ascend up Ughill Moors. We then head towards Dungworth where we will make an ice cream stop at Molly’s (if it isn’t too cold!). We then make our way to Damflask Reservoir and back towards Low Bradfield where we can stop for a drink at The Plough if there is interest.

This is a walk I was going to lead in September last year, but I shortened the route due to hot weather. The route will cover some of the paths from the walk I led in September.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking either in the cricket pitch car park or around the cricket pitch. Please car share where possible.

Public Transport: There is a tram stop just outside Hillsborough Interchange and there is a bus leaving Hillsborough Interchange at 10.00am that will get you to Low Bradfield for 10.25am. Please check the bus times yourself on the day, as they may change.
