Full description:
Starting from The Greyhound Hotel at Cromford, we will walk up to Black Rocks via the High Peak Trail. Then we'll make our way to the High Peak Junction workshops, Leawood Pumphouse and Aqueduct Cottage. Finally, we'll do a loop around Florence Nightingale's home, Lea Hurst before walking back along Cromford Canal to the mills and village.
Public transport or car sharing options:
Catch X17 bus to The Greyhound Hotel, Cromford departing Sheffield Interchange stand D4 at 8:35, arriving at 10:10.
PLEASE double check that the bus goes to Wirksworth.
Returning buses from Cromford Greyhound are at 14:49, 15:53, 17:03, 18:03 and 19:06.
Parking:
Parking available at Cromford Rugby Club Car Park (£4 for day, cash or Ringo), Cromford Wharf or Cromford Mills Car Parks, all are 10 minutes walk away from the start.
Be prepared:

Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
