Full description:

There's something about the woods that I've always found magical. The potential of getting lost but your never alone, with all the life living there.

A short but beautiful walk through all 3 woods (wood 1, 2 and 3) that form Eccelsall woods. I have done this once and paths can be confusing so please be patient if I miss a path and may have to back track.
Paths can be slippery so good boots is a must.

We can stop at the café at the end if people wish for lunch/hot drink.

Enough time afterwards to spend the rest of your day with family/friends or sorting out a pile of washing.

Public transport or car sharing options:

Car parking at the wood land discovery centre. Parking in Abbey lane and surrounding roads.

Buses 97/98 from the centre take you to the bottom of Abbey lane and you have to walk up (10 minutes) to the centre.
Same bus also from Hillsborough interchange.
It's a Sunday service so please check timings.
