Description

Ahead of International Women’s’ Day, SWG is holding our first ever women’s only walk, open and welcoming to all women and those who identify as women.

Starting at Fox House, this walk takes in 3 of the Peak District’s famous edges – White Edge, Curbar and Froggatt,  then looping back through the Longshaw nature reserve, finishing at their café for a piece of cake :P. Expect rough and rocky terrain and moorland, some great views over to the west (weather permitting), and not too much in the way of hills, so a good beginners walk if you are new to the group and want to discover what the Peaks has to offer!

Please remember to bring a packed lunch and plenty of water, and dress appropriately for the time of year. Don’t forget your waterproof!

Sign-up:
Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.

Transport options:

Catch 272 bus from Sheffield Interchange to Fox House, departing the Interchange at 9:51am and arriving 10:22am. Return bus hourly (approx).

If you are driving and can offer a lift, please post in the Meetup chat.
