Starting from the village of Harley we walk into the village of Wentworth. We then take a circular route around Wentworth Park, including through the village of Scholes. Highlights include the park lakes, the doric temple and Wentworth Woodhouse itself (we may not have time to visit, and we may have muddy boots but the exterior itself is impressive). We then walk into Wentworth where we can find either tearooms or a pub before a stroll back down to Harley.
The walk is relatively level terrain but may be muddy under foot in places.

Public transport or car sharing options:
Bus 2 from Sheffield leaves Arundel Gate at 09.32 (with other stops in the city centre and out via Northern General & Ecclesfield). Alight at junction of Sheffield Road and Black Lane. Cross the main road and walk down Harley Road to the meeting point. (Walk leader will try to meet at the bus stop).
On street car parking is available in Harley but do check signage as there are some residents parking areas in operation.
