This 9 mile tramp is far from a walk in the park. After bussing to Fox House we’ll wind our way back to Sheffield, we’ll begin by heading across Blacka Moor and through pretty woodland to the bottom of the Devil’s Elbow. You’ll enjoy a steep and muddy climb to the Hathersage Road before crossing over and climbing again. At the top of this wet bracken trail you’ll be rewarded with brilliant views of the city skyline making all that effort totally worth it. The hike continues North and onwards to Lady Cannings Plantation and the distant oasis of The Norfolk Arms. We’ll grab a drink and relax, it’s all downhill from here. The final three miles follow the dappled paths of the Porter Valley leading us to Endcliffe Park.
