Full description:
A walk twixt Loose Hill and the Vale of Edale. Starting near the river in Hope we follow this north before crossing it and beginning our ascent of Loose Hill. After a not at all exhausting climb we will admire the views and then make our way along the great ridge to Hollins Cross. It is then down into the valley before we head back east at the foot of the Kinder plateau to Jaggers Clough. From here light and weather determine if we head up to Hope Cross and along the roman road for more views or cut though backside wood and follow the Noe. Either way we will end up by the fire in the Cheshire Cheese.
NOTE: please bring a torch for the walk back to transport which is up to 2km to reach the train.
NOTE: this will be a fast-paced walk (requiring a good level of fitness).
