Full description:

This walk is all about appreciating the waterways!

We'll start by visiting the always excellent selection of Well Dressings in Youlgreave, then follow along the River Bradford before joining part of the Limestone way. After a bit of a hill, we drop back down to Lathkill Dale, following the river here until we get to Over Haddon. Here we will stop in to enjoy their Well Dressings and perhaps a drink and cake in the village hall. We then drop back to the River Lathkill, follow it round until it joins back at the Bradford. There will be an opportunity at the end for a swim or quick plunge in the designated swim area and/or pub.

Public transport or car sharing options:

There doesn't seem to be good public transport options, so lift sharing will be necessary.

There should be parking indicated for the well dressings, but in previous years they have been:

East end of the village at

West end "Coldwell end" at

Both are relatively small and you may need coins. Public toilets available at Coldwell End.
