Full description: 

From our meeting point at Edale station we'll make our way through the village and begin our ascent onto Kinder Plateau. The initial ascent is sharp but the hard work is instantly rewarded with magnificent views over the Vale of Edale. After a brief pause at The Nab to take in the view and catch our breath we'll continue on to Ringing Roger before turning east towards Crookstone Out Moor and Crookstone Hill. Our return to Edale takes us briefly over an old Roman road and then follows a lower path via Jaggers Clough. There will be an opportunity for a drink at The Old Nags Head back in Edale before returning home.

Catch the 11:14 train from Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly.
Car parking is available in Edale but can be busy.
