Difficulty: Moderate - 7.7 miles
We begin the walk through the lovely Longshaw estate National Trust. We then head up to the White edge Lodge through the moorland down some rocky paths down towards Brown edge. The walk takes us to the Blacka moor Nature reserve which we can admire the scenery and stop for some lunch. We then take a steep climb up Blacka hill, and around Totley Moor. We will follow some narrow and slightly muddy paths through the moorland back onto Hathersage road to reach our starting point.
Some areas will have lots of bulls, cattle, and calfs etc so think it would be best for this particular walk to have no dogs please.
