Full description:

Starting in Low Bradfield, we will begin by skirting the edge of Dale Dyke reservoir, and then ascend above Strines reservoir towards Lodge Moor. We will then walk the entire length of Stanage Edge, from Moscar Lodge all the way to Upper Burbage Bridge, before crossing Burbage Moor to finish at Fox House for a well-deserved drink.

This is a fairly long walk, and will include rocky and uneven ground, so will require a good level of fitness. Please come prepared with a good pair of walking boots or shoes, a waterproof, plenty of water and a packed lunch, as well as sun protection if required.

Public transport or car sharing options:

Catch the 62 bus from Hillsborough Interchange (stand H6) departing 10:10am, arriving into Low Bradfield at 10:39. Return bus is from Fox house (approx hourly).

Please note this is a linear walk. If you arrive by car you will need to make your own way back to the start.
