Full description: We will join in with park walkers at Park run. The event starts 9am near children’s play park. I will be there from 8.45am. For those who do not know me, I will have phone with me to arrange meeting. Please check out the park run website and register there and bring bar code with you.

This is a good one for those wanting to try out the group with an easy walk followed by chat time; afterwards we will have a coffee at depot bakery.

Anyone who wants to run are welcome to - you can then be in charge of a table at the depot bakery. The depot bakery is the cafe in Hillsborough park in historic former stables . Hillsborough park also has a walled garden, a lake and I know a few other interesting facts about the park.

Public transport or car sharing options: The park is on the yellow tram route. You can get off at either Hillsborough park or Leppings Lane. Or if on blue tram, get off Hillsborough corner and then it is just 10min walk to the start in the park.

Also various buses from town, Walkley, Crookes, Firth park, Ecclesall road etc…

There is a car park at the park which charges. You could instead park on one of the roads off Middlewood road as long as can do hill parking! E.g Dixon, Direthy rd etc..
