Full description:

This walk will be a liner walk exploring at least 4 lesser trod dales before heading over the hills to Castleton. Starting in miller's dale we will head north up monks dale, hay dale, petter dale and dam dale until we reach peak forest. From there we head over Bradwell moor to Castleton possibly adding a bonus dale (cave dale) or hill (mam tor) as conditions allow.

Public transport or car sharing options:

65 bus to miller's dale arrives 10:47 leave Sheffield 09:35 Meadowhall 09:10. Note: google maps splits this route at Tideswell so does not show it due to a fast connection that in reality is the same bus.

Buses back to Sheffield 17:05 17:55 19:05.

Should be £2 each way

There is a 173 bus back from Castleton to Tideswell at 16:50 (last bus) but you need to work out details yourself
