Description:

We'll start along the Loxley valley, then head up to Loxley Common. Then back down to catch a quick glimpse at the wild fly tipped mattresses and cross the Loxley River. A few ups and downs will get us to the Rivelin Valley where we'll cross some stepping stones and head up for the views of the Rivelin Dams. The final stretch is along the ridge before dropping down into the Rivelin Valley to get us back to our starting point.

Plenty of public transport a short walk from the start point. The Supertram stops at Malin Bridge, various buses to Hillsborough, 81 and 82 buses go along Ecclesall Road to Stannington/Malin Bridge
