Full description:

Starting in Palterton we make our way through Langwith woods and head over to Scarcliffe. There is a few more paths and woodlands to walk through before we circle around to Bolsover and then onto Bolsover Castle. We can stop at the café here and maybe do the tour of the castle if there is interest (we can decide this on the day). If we do decide to do the tour it’s £11 each for a group booking. Once we’re done looking around the castle and its grounds, it’s back to Palterton.

Public transport or car sharing options:

Parking: I have asked Palterton Village Hall and they have kindly let us use their car park for the day, so we can park for free at Palterton Village Hall, 45 Back Lane, Palterton, S44 6UN.

Please note there is no public transport to the walk start, it is car sharing only. If you can give lifts or need a lift, please post in the comments on Meetup. The drive to Palterton is approximately 30 mins from Sheffield town centre.
