Full description:

Starting at the Pheasant in Oughtibridge (S35 0HS), we walk along part of the Trans Pennine Trail and make our way up through Greno woods and towards Deepcar, before we circle back down to the Pheasant. We can stop for a drink at the end if there is interest.

Public transport or car sharing options:

There is parking outside the Pheasant. If you are catching public transport, catch the 9.40am tram from The Cathedral to Middlewood and then catch the bus link SL1 at Middlewood and go to the bus stop opposite the White Hart pub in Oughtibridge. You will then need to walk down past the Cock Inn and up Jaw Bone Hill to the Pheasant.
