Description: This walk combines shelters valleys with open moorland and numerous villages for a varied winter walk . Starting in Grindelford we head south along the river. At Froggatt we will turn west and take in stony Middleton and Eyam before heading north to Hathersage via Eyam moor.

Difficulty: Moderate, 11 mile walk.

Public transport or car sharing options: Train 10:17 to Grindelford. Returns from Hathersage at 14 past the hour. Recommended ticket return to Hathersage.
