Walk Description:

Easter is almost upon us, which can only mean one thing - it’s time for SWG’s famous Easter Egg Hunt, with chocolate eggs galore for everyone who takes part!!!!

Hidden around Burbage moor will be 4 kilos of chocolate mini eggs waiting to be found…and eaten! You will work in teams (to be sorted on the day) to navigate from one clue to the next, collecting chocolate eggs as you go, and covering around 5 miles in total. The first team to decipher their final clue and get to the finish line will get - wait for it - even more chocolate eggs, this time big ones!!

Everything will be explained beforehand, and no previous navigation experience is necessary :)

Although plenty of chocolate will be provided, please do bring any other food you may wish to eat to keep you going, as well as something to drink. As with all our walks, a waterproof is a good idea just in case, and appropriate attire for the time of year.

To cover expenses and all that chocolate, we are asking for a contribution of £3 for Ramblers members, or £5 for non-members.

Please catch the 272 bus at 9.46 from Sheffield Interchange, arriving at Fox House at 10.14. Return bus is hourly (approx).

If you are driving anc can offer a lift, please post in the Meetup chat. There is parking at Fox House, and at the Longshore estate car park close by, as well as some roadside parking available.
