Walk description: We start by walking along the Trans Pennine Trail towards Wortley where we can stop at the Wortley Arms for a drink. There is an alternative option to stop at Wagyu burger, but we can make this decision on the day. We then walk up a hill that will lead us to Green Moor and Hunshelf Quarry. Then it’s back along the Trans Pennine trail towards Thurgoland and then there’s a bit more woodland and river walking before we make our way back to Deepcar.
Public transport or car sharing options: Public Transport: There is a bus leaving Sheffield Interchange at 9.45am that will get you to Deepcar for 10.30am. Please get off at the bus stop to the left of the Royal Oak pub (S36 2QX). Please check the bus times yourself as they can change.
