Please Note: This is a long walk with 800m assent and remote off path sections with an expected 8hr duration. Pack food water and clothing for being on remote hills for this duration.

Start point: Chinley railway station platform. ///yachting.motor.skirt

End point: Edale railway station

A last big walk before clocks (and weather) change. Starting in Chinley we will head up the churn to Hayfield and Kinder Reservoir. From here it is up to Kinder Downfall then over the plateau to the north side of Kinder. Will will walk East along these then cut back South over the more and down to the pub in Edale hopefully timing sunset in the valley.
Possible dinner in pub to cap off a good day out.

Public transport or car sharing options: 9:14 train to Chinley arriving there at 09:55. Trains back at 18:24, 19:24 and 20:24 from Edale.
This is a linear walk if you drive you will need to workout getting back to your car (trains run on the hour from Edale back to Chinley).
