Full description: 

8 mile/13km loop starting in Baslow through Chatsworth park taking in:
* Autumnal woodlands around the Swiss and Emperor lakes
* Views from the Hunting Tower and Dobb Edge
* Return along the banks of the river Derwent with views across to the house
* Passing the historic Queen Mary's Bower
* Many refreshment opportunity’s on return to Baslow

Walk is on paths, tracks and grass, short sections can be a little boggy if wet weather. 250m of assent most of which is at the start.

Please bring:
* Suitable footwear - Walking boots that provide ankle support recommend
* Clothing suitable for the conditions - warm layers and waterproofs
* Food enough to keep you going - Plan to have lunch out on the walk
