A feature of the SWG calendar for many years, but this time with a new route, new venue, and...fireworks!

This year our night walking adventure begins at Fox House at 16:45. From here we'll make our way across Totley Moor and to The Crown Inn pub, aiming to arrive in time for the fireworks at 18:30. There'll be time to enjoy the festivities at the pub and grab some food and a hot drink, before we continue our journey back towards the city.

Our route back will take us through Poynton Wood, Ladies Spring Wood, Hutcliffe Wood, and Brincliffe Edge before arriving at Hunter’s Bar in the late evening. As this is a night walk a head torch and appropriate clothing are essential. Sparklers optional!

Please note that the finish time of this walk cannot be guaranteed so bear this in mind if relying on public transport to get home from Hunters Bar.

Public transport: Take the 271 bus from Sheffield Interchange at 15:50 (or pick it up from the finish point, Hunters Bar, at 16:22).
