Full description: A wander up some lovely cloughs with (hopefully) some bluebells. Starting by following Highlow Brook to Abney Clough into Abney, and then down Bretton Clough where we’ll climb the hill up to Eyam Moor, enjoying the lovely rocks and views on the way. Once up the big hill, we’ll make our way over Eyam Moor and head back down to Hathersage via Leam. We’ll finish up in a pub because it’ll be in that gap where there’s no 272 bus until 4:15ish.

Bring lunch as there won’t be anywhere to stop on the way. Good boots recommended as some areas may be muddy.

Public transport or car sharing options: Trains (check for times and industrial action) or the 272 from the Interchange which gets into Hathersage at 10:22, then it’s a short walk to the station. We’ll be finishing in that gap where there's no 272.

Be prepared:

Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water.
