Full description:
We start by walking up Rivelin Valley and via Fox Hagg until we hit the Rivelin Resevoir. Then we walk up Wyming brook which is apparently very pretty (The main reason I want to do this walk) From the top of the brook we follow Redmires conduit back East and then dip down to Forge Dam where I'm hoping to get ice cream (Another good reason for the walk). Finally we potter down Porter Brook and finish at Endcliffe Park, right by my house (The real main reason for the walk).
It's going to be great weather, beautiful walking and an all round lovely time.
Public transport or car sharing options:
This is not a circular walk!
There are multiple options to get to and from the walk and the best option for your will depend on where you are coming from.
From the city centre you can get the 52a bus or the 82 to the start. The 82 also goes down Eccy road so you can park by Endcliffe park around 10 and get the bus from there to the start, the 82 bus is useful again for getting back from the end.
It’s also a 15min bus/ 40 min walk from Endcliffe to the train station.
